Dear all, this is the latest update from me in Thailand. I am now in the island of Koh Phangan appoximately 50km from the coast of SuratThani. When I arrived the on the island I went on a party with a Mexican guy I met and am currently sharing a room with. I drank too much at the party and lost my bag which contains my camera, wallet, handphone and passport. It was not stolen or snatched by me. I just simply left it on the table and left the party without the bag. When I woke up the next day, I went straight back to the place and it was too late. Immediately I cancelled all my cards and went straight to the police station and guess what? I found my bag along with my passport and wallet (with all my ATM and credit cards). All the cash I have inside the bag together with my camera and handphone were gone. All in all I think I lost around RM4000.
I am currently still in Koh Phangan and will be leaving the island tomorrow. I still have some cash with me and a credit card that still works. So don't worry about me. I will be however getting my replacement cards when I reach Bangkok in a few days time. In the meantime if you wish to contact me, I will still be reachable through email.
I am fine now and I vowed never to get drunk ever again for the rest of my trip. I will continue with my journey once I get back on track and will keep updating about my adventure.

The important thing to us all is that you are safe.
Don't beat yourself up too much over it - it could've happened to anyone.
After all you didn't let it affect your plans - I think that is the big picture here.

Jie jie is meeting up with me in Bangkok this month. So i am hoping she can get a camera for me from my dad.
i am now in koh tao doing my advanced open water course... it's a superb and cheap place to do diving courses here and I simply can't miss this opportunity. By the rate I am going now I guess I will really have to be home (as wht my mum hoped) soon.
I was extremely down for the past few days and was seriously thinking of giving out. But I tot to myself.. i quit my job for this so I am going to stick with it no matter wht...

it's very hard for me to apply leave, to save $$, to make up my mind to travel, to really seriously take action to buy ticket...not simply say (like resignation)...so i really put my heart for the trip and hope to have fun time with u guys loh...

I was only drunk and I went back to my room myself to sleep after that. I will rule out the possibility of being drugged cause I really drank quite a lot that night.

haha. i think whenever i tok to u abt these stuff. smt bad will happen to me one ler.. remember how i teased u when u left ur wallet in mcdonalds.. then it happened to me in krabi.. hahah i think i am jinxed..
anyway i am thinking of upgrading to a better one also so D60 is not my cup of tea now.. even though i am not as rich as u, i will save up to buy a good one now...
u can convince timmy to buy from u though. he sent me a message on facebook to ask me abt SLR and i told him abt ur intention. hurry up before he go buy one himself..
